Bursting a scam called Lingua Mart Translation company

This is very import. This is related to someone's livelihood. This is related to people associated with writing, media and communication field. One of my friends who happens to be a translator is a victim of a fraud company called Lingua Mart (linguamart@hotmail.com). This company is based out of South Extension, New Delhi (Full address as per Sulekha.com is #504 South Extension Tower Masjid Moth, Part 2, South Extension Part II, Delhi - 110049) and (As per his website, RZ G - 3, 2nd Floor, Opposite ICICI Bank, Mahavir Enclave, Palam Dabri Road, New Delhi - 110045, India). The owner of this company is Mr Jeetender Kumar (At least he claims so). His number is  9999210917 and 9999210918.

My friend was asked to do a translation assignment and he was promised to be paid a lump sum amount of Rs 10,000. He completed the assignment within the deadline. Meanwhile another assignment came and again the commitment was for Rs 10,000. He asked for the payment of the first assignment but Jeetender Kumar of Lingua Mart told him that he would pay once both the assignments would complete.

My friend had urgent requirement of money but he had to agree on this and he completed the second assignment as well. Shockingly, Jeetender Kumar of Lingua Mart did not pay him and promised that he would deposit amount in his bank account next day. Next day when my friend called him he said he had asked his Relationship Manager in ICICI Bank, Mahavir Enclave Branch to deposit the amount in his account. Everyday he used to make a new excuse and delayed the payment. Finally one day Jeetender Kumar of Lingua Mart stopped taking my friend's call.

Then he did some basic research on internet to know about Jeetender Kumar of Lingua Mart. and shockingly, he found that Jeetender Kumar of Lingua Mart is a serial cheater. Some of his complaints can be found in complaint forums as well.

Lingua Mart

This snapshot clearly shows Jeetender Kumar of Lingua Mart has cheated Vivek as well. That too some 3 years back. It means this cheating is going on for years. You can visit this page of Sulekha.com to see this for yourself.

My intention is clear. I want to aware people about this cheating company called Lingua Mart. And the fraud person called Jetender Kumar. I hope no other translator or dubbing artist or video artist get cheated by this fraud person.

If you agree with this, please help spread this message to all who are in the field of communication/ content/ translation.

My LGKM335

I bought this mobile set- LG KM335 on 12th August 2009. After using it for almost half a month, I thought of doing a quick review with my minimal knowledge of IT and technology. At the very beginning of the review let me tell you that my friends call me technologically handicapped due to almost negligible knowledge in this field. So, this review is purely a layman’s review of his mobile set.
First thing first- I found this mobile attractive by look. Most of my friends told me that this is a good looking mobile phone. So, the first impression is good, no doubt about it. It’s a user-friendly set with very comfortable and easy to use keypad. The screen is big enough to watch videos and pictures comfortably. Weight is only 88gm. Very light weighted indeed.
In the meanwhile let me clarify one thing, I bought this mobile set because I wanted a set with good camera and very good music. So, if I talk about the camera. It has 3.0 mega pixel camera with very good clarity for still as well as video recording. While going to my office in Okhla phase III from Indirapuram through the DND flyway, I recorded the whole toll bridge as my brother was riding the bike with the speed 80-95 kmph. And guess what, amazing clarity in the video. If possible I shall upload the video in my next blog. Even still pics are good. If I talk about music, I got it satisfying as the set has dual speaker. Sound quality is really good. One complaint here, the music player is very basic. You have to stop the song to change the song. Yes, mp3 player in multimedia is other option to play the songs but it could be better. FM Radio is there as well with FM recording but sorry for the poor connectivity. I could not hear it very clear at not in all places. But overall a good listening experience.
I have complaint for Bluetooth as well. It is very slow yaar. I sent some songs to my friend’s set using Bluetooth. You can not send more than one files at a time. I tried to mark some files and send it but there is no option available there. I had to send the songs one by one that too with low speed. I don’t know may be a faster device could help.
Overall the cell is slow in function. Today, when you want your gadget to be your slave the moment you order it should do it. But here the delivery is a bit slow. But if you could ignore the speed, all functions are remarkable be it games, organizer or even multimedia or tools. Yeah, Brower is good. I loved it.
Having said all these, I think at the price of about Rs 7000 this is a very good value for money and no doubt a very good buy. If I am asked to rates my new gadget I will not hesitate to give it four out of 5 stars.

Yesterday, I met rather, saw Yuvraaj singh and three other Indian Cricket team players. they were shooting an ad for an Insurance company in Ambience Mall Gurgaon. Yuvi- the tall charming and attractive personality. U can not avaoid his persona in the very first sight. He has got a funny bone that too very strong and vibrating. He doesn't leave even a single chance to comment on any situation. He almost made Rohit Sharma shy when Rohit was answering a question on how he feels when girls recognise him. He said "Jhoot bol raha hai" just Rohit completed his answer. you feel nice, smiling and sometime even laughing if Yuvi is around u. Overall a good experience watching the ad shoot first time ever.
This was the second time i was watching any cricketer live. A few months back I saw Saching when he visited a well known institution in Noida. Yaar, He is a legend in true sence, a humble, polite, disciplened "The little master".

The best Indian ODI team ever (as on 14th March 2009)

Take these statements- “It is the best batting line up I have ever been part of- Sachin Tendulkar”; “MSD’s team best in the world- Chandrashekhar”. Leave these quotes let’s take some facts and figures- “The player with highest scores in ODI as well as in Test matches with maximum number of centuries in both the forms”, “The player smashing six sixes in one over”, “the player hitting fastest century by an Indian”, “The player with maximum score in an ODI as a wicketkeeper”- all of these among a numerous records holders belong to the current team India. Let’s take a cumulative record- 12 wins in 13 consecutive matches.
I personally believe this is the best Indian team ever. Under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, this team has accomplished all the assignments only to strengthen my belief. And very soon the team India will become officially number 1 team by ICC ranking.
This team India consists of some great players and many match winners. Cricket specialists are not hesitating to ask if Virender Sehwag is the best batsman. Sehwag is the only current player scoring two triple test centuries. Now he is the fastest Indian to score an ODI hundred and the fastest in world to score a triple century in a test match. He is undoubtedly the bravest batsman as he is fond of completing his ton with a huge six. With a strike rate of more than 100, his fear among bowlers can be understood with ease. So, can I dare to say that the debate of who is the ‘biggest’ batsman starts from comparing two ‘little’ greats of current team India? The second one is of course Sachin Tendulkar, holding virtually all batting records of ODI and Test cricket.
Apart from Sehwag and Sachin, the aggressive Gautam Gambhir, Confident yuvraj Singh, the batsmen with all gear Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Rocketing Suresh Raina and hot hotter Yusuf Pathan make the batting line up the best in the world. Although, the Indian team batting has always been good in papers but probably for the first time these ‘Kagaj ke sher’ are roaring in thye field as well.
Among the bowlers Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma are among the most respected bowlers by current best batters in the world. Harbhajan Singh easily qualifies among top there off spinners. Overall it’s a well balanced team. Indeed!I salute the discipline and hungry for win attitude of the current team India. Here I am wishing the team all the best for being best team ever in the world of cricket. Let me conclude with a quote- ‘Luck favours the brave’.

An MBA in PR Industry

It was May 5, 2008 when I joined this company. I must confess, I was totally unaware of the industry till May4. I went through an orientation program for a week in my company's headquarter in Mumbai and then and there I started to feel the importance of a PR person in the image and ultimately profitability of a certain organisation. After almost 7 months, I m a part of the industry, finding myself very fortunate to be a part of such a human organisation. It is not often that an MBA joins a PR agency at the very initial stage of his carrer. But attraction of handling financial clients with direct contact with the top management in banks and other financial companies has made me think that this sector is a goood option for newly MBAs, especialy in the current scenario.
It is a win win situation for both- the MBA graduate as well as the PR agency. When he handles a banking/financial client, the agency has always a bonus of being assured that the executive is able to understand the client with ease. The client is more comfortable as he finds it easy to convey the message to its audience through the agency. The positioning of the organisation to its target market is discussed in more informed environment. and many more reasons can be counted for the same.
I, as an MBA, am feeling good (read great) to be in the PR industry, especially in an agency which is one of the fastest, best and most respected in the industry.
